Safety, Hope, and Healing
Defenders of Children provides meaningful access to justice through representation in court to low-income children and families in all 15 Arizona counties. In every corner of the state, we provide expert, attorney-level legal assistance to those who desperately need but cannot afford to hire a skilled and experienced lawyer. Each year, through our family law services alone, we help more than 1,500 vulnerable children escape or stay safe from abuse or neglect. In 2025, we provided low-income Arizonans with approximately $5 million in free life-changing (and often life-saving) legal services.
